Cercare Medical is a medical software company founded in 2013 as a spin-out of the Center of Functionally Integrative Neuroscience and MINDlab research centers at Aarhus University. Cercare Medical extends more than 20 years of research, led by Professor Leif Østergaard and Professor Kim Beuschau Mouridsen, in neuroimaging and artificial intelligence.   

Cercare Medical aims to make state of the art decision support systems available for hospitals and physicians to accelerate and optimize clinical decision-making.  

AI-powered imaging solutions developed by Cercare Medical provide unparalleled decision support to radiology professionals. The solutions are fully automated helping to standardize image outputs and improve department’s workflow. Current CE-approved portfolio consists of solutions allowing for fast brain tissue viability analysis in a range of neurological disorders including oncology, dementia and stroke.
